Summary Presentation M20 Cork - Limerick Oral Hearing July 2010

The Oral Hearing for the M20 Motorway has been taking place in the Charleville Park Hotel over the past two weeks. There is a great concern regarding the proposal to eliminate the exit and entrance to and from Croom. It will have a dramatic effect on the Commercial and Retail life of Croom and people would become very isolated in making their daily travel to Limerick or the Charleville/Cork area. It will create loss of employment; make the Maigueside town a non-existent area on the main route.
Residents, business people and natives of Croom and district if they wish to express their support for the retention of the Croom Roundabouts and junction by stating their express wish that the Croom exit and entrance will be retained can email
croomm20motorway@gmail.com

These emails will be forwarded to the Inspector M20 Motorway Oral Hearing to show solidarity to the community and district of Croom. It is now a time for the people of Croom to show their colours. It's an hour of need to ensure that the Maigueside of Croom will develop and grow to be a great community to work and live. No doubt that this support will be forthcoming and to show a true spirit from the Maigueside.
